PROBLEM:

Services based on IIOP connectors may not be located if some users are 
using Java 1.3 and others are using Java 1.4. This problem was observed 
when one computer was running Java "1.3.1" and another was 
running "1.4.0-beta2" (according to "java -version"). 

This defect is similar to 4268, since the RMI and IIOP connectors work 
in similar ways. Please refer to that defect for more information.
