From the Openwings Explorer tree view, right-click a component
to be uninstalled and select "Uninstall Component" from
the popup menu. In the example below, the HelloWorldUser_im-0.1
component has been selected for uninstall.
The following window will be displayed. This is similar to the
uninstall
command in the Openwings Shell. Keep in mind that a component
might not successfully uninstall:
- if the component is running, or
- if another component depends upon the component
In these cases, you may find the "force uninstall"
option useful.
If the component was successfully uninstalled, a message dialog
will appear indicating that fact. Otherwise, an error dialog will
appear indicating that the operation failed.
