To install a component, right-click on a platform in the tree
view window. You will see a popup menu with a selection "Install
Component".
Select Install Component. A window will appear where you can
specify the component to be installed. You can optionally enter
a URL into the text field or use the Browse button to select an
installable Jar file to be installed. Using this method to install
a component is similar to using the "install"
command in the Openwings shell.
Click OK. If the component was installed successfully, you'll
see a message dialog saying that "<component name>
was installed." You can turn such message dialogs off in
the Options
menu if you find them annoying. The new component should now appear
in the tree.
Another method. If the component you wish to install is
already installed on another platform, you can drag and drop the
component from the existing platform to the destination platform.
Select the component to be installed and hold down the (left)
mouse button. Drag the component to the platform node where you
wish it to be installed, and release the mouse button. You can
drag to any platform node in the same tree view window, or even
in another tree view window.
